Charles Ray Witherington
Darrell Lynn Houck
Darrell Lynn Houck was the
Administrative Assistant with Public
Works and started to work with the
town in June of 2008. His date of birth
was April 13, 1957 and his date of
passing was December 23, 2008.
Charles Ray Witherington was
employed with the town for over 36
years. He had served as Public Works
Supervisor until his retirement but we
wouldn't let him stay away and he
came back part-time and worked with
us until his passing. He was very active
in his community and served as
Fire Chief with the Mount Olive
Volunteer Fire Department for many
years.  His date of birth was
August 10, 1950 and
he passed on
October 28, 2008.
Larry Thomas "Tom" Swinson - (born
October 11, 1939) Tom joined us
August 7, 2002 as our Parks and
Recreation Director and in 2009
semi-retired and took the title of our
Parks and Recreation Assistant. He
passed away on May 28, 2010. He was
well loved and respected and will be
deeply missed
