The Town's Yard Waste & other item pick-ups schedule will be as follows:
Household garbage will be picked up on the West side on Thursdays
Household garbage will be picked up on the East side on Fridays
Yard Waste will be picked up on the West side on Mondays
Yard Waste will be picked up on the East side on Tuesdays
One to two pieces of Furniture will be picked up on Wednesdays
Appliances will be picked up on Thursdays.
THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE LANDLORDS WHO EMPTY THE CONTENTS OF THEIR RENTAL
HOUSES BEFORE THE NEXT TENANT MOVES IN.
With new trash carts the handle needs to be facing the house so the
automated truck can lift it without damaging it. Also, please be aware
that the truck will pick up on one side of the street first then come
back down the other side.
LEAF COLLECTION INFORMATION
Beginning October 28, 2009 - January 15, 2010 we will begin loose leaf pick up. Please advise
that all twigs & trash of any kind must be separated from the leaves because the machine will not pick
them up. Pine straw must be bagged. A route will be ran on a daily basis beginning on the North West
side of town. Please do not call regarding leaves needing to be picked up after our route has run for the
day, those will be picked up the following day.
